Want a stunning summer sunset or sky backdrop without the stress of muddy paint or harsh transitions? Perfecting clean color blends is easier than it looks.

Use more water!

Start by dampening your flat brush to pull paint smoothly across your canvas. Using MORE water is almost always going to help your blending.

Use the white paint!

Load titanium white between contrasting colors to act as a seamless transition zone. Always work quickly while the layers are wet to let your colors bleed naturally into each other without harsh separation lines.
